Biomedical Engineer
Ph.D. Student in Structural Mechanics
Biomedical Engineer specializing in Biomechanics, with expertise in experimental testing and the development of constitutive laws for polymers, as well as soft and hard tissues. His research focuses on advancing the understanding of material behaviour through experimental and numerical methods. He possesses advanced skills in CAD, biomaterials, 3D printing, and Finite Element Analysis.

Biomedical engineer
Ph.D. Student in Structural Mechanics
Biomedical Engineer specializing in Biomechanics, with focus on mechanical
characterisation of biomaterials and soft tissues, expertise
gained primarily through the master’s thesis research project.
Her research has focused on the design of customised
experimental setups for tensile testing on biological tissues and
the development and validation of computational models to
predict the mechanical behavior of these materials, applying
advanced finite element methods (FEA).
She also possess a solid knowledge of bionanotechnology
principles and of the main fabrication techniques for scaffolds and nanoparticles for biomedical applications.

Biomedical Engineer
Specializing in biomechanics and PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Experienced in manufacturing techniques and 3D printing. During her research, she focused on assessing the biodegradation of biopolymers, as well as the design and development of implantable devices, including their experimental and numerical validation. From drafting patent disclosures, to leading research projects, and complying with medical device regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and MDR 2017/745.

Biomedical engineer
Specializing in Bio and NanoTechnologies as a research fellow at Politecnico di Torino. During her master’s thesis she approached on the T-REMEDIE project. The work done on the design and engineering of the device allowed her to develop skills in software CAD, in optimization of geometries according to the limitations of the manufacturing techniques, and in finite element analysis. She acquired critical skills on the choice of the most suitable materials for specific applications and participated in animal and human cadaver testing.
